Sorry for the [even more so than usual] amateur photos, but all I had on me at the time when I visited bubble-mood’s studio to see their 2012 spring/summer collection was my little point and shoot camera. And I’m just so excited to share with you the Parisian’s current collection, which can be bought here. bubble-mood pieces really make a girl feel special when she wears them. For now I only own one bubble-mood piece (they are kind of expensive but worthy investments!) and each time I wear it I get loads of ooohs and aaahs (from my impeccably dressed French friends).  And bubble-mood only makes a few pieces of each design, so the wearer is guaranteed some amount of originality. Isn’t the silk kimono great? Olivia, one of the designers behind bubble-mood, said they wanted to design a three-in-one dress that could be worn as a sexy lounging piece, a coverup on paradise island or as an evening dress with heels. For RMB1,300, I’d say this dress delivers boatloads of bang for your buck.

Speaking of lingerie…. this bodysuit is made of vintage French lace. Meowwwwwww

Anyways.  I first fell in love with these two looks a few months ago at H&M’s press presentation for their spring collection, which is just now trickling into stores. Before moving to Shanghai, I didn’t really care too much about H&M, but, as many expats found out, it’s one of the few sources of cheap and cheerful clothes in Shanghai. For someone who doesn’t wear a whole lot of color, it’s strange how I want to twirl around in a dress the hue of a neon limepopsicle.
