My name is Hart and I have lived in Shanghai since 2008. Since 2010, I’ve had a very dope job as the lifestyle editor of Shanghai’s oldest, largest (and best, if I do say so myself) English language magazine, That’s Shanghai. I get paid to sniff out the latest and the greatest in the city’s lifestyle scene, including fashion, interior design, hotels and spas. It’s as fun as it sounds. Shanghai Style File started with very humble beginnings in 2009 and has since turned into a behind-the-scenes look of my day job. There’s just simply not enough space on the page to fit everyone I meet and the things I learn along the way. I hope you enjoy reading SSF as much as I enjoy writing it.
